The United Nations Environment
Programme (UNEP) and The Centre for Environment and Development for
the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE) with support from the Islamic
Educational, Scientific and Cultural organization (ISESCO) are organizing a
regional workshop on (Managing Climate Change at the Local Level:
Challenges and Opportunities for the Arab Region); from 17-20
January 2011 in Cairo, Egypt.
The workshop will introduce the concept of local approaches to
climate change for the first time in the Arab region
